About: Hello everyone,
I am a passionate OCT Certified teacher living in Toronto. I have worked for the TDSB since 2014 and have formally taught Kindergarten through to grade 8 in core subjects (math, language, science and social studies) and all the lesson planning, long range planning, assessment and report writing that is required .I would be comfortable and capable of teaching any elementary grade in math, language or a combination of all core subjects. I have taught students everywhere on the spectrum from struggling students needing practical help to gifted students looking for additional challenges. I also have experience with teaching ESL/ELL and special education. My current teaching role is at a congregated special education site with DD students for my board. So can incorporate supports for both English Language Learners and Special needs as required.
I am looking to establish a virtual or in person learning pod that will run outside of regular school hours. The hours available will be 4:30 to 6:30 on weekdays and more flexibility on the weekends.
